Design
Shapes, materials and colors play a leading role in the design of the TIDE collection. Made with the highest quality Mohair and New Zealand wool, these high-pile rugs are warm and luxurious. The combination of these materials create a soft and slightly sparkling appearance. The carpet comes in four different colors: BONE, MIST, PEBBLE and TERRA. The collection is also designed considering the size and shape of differing spaces. The carpet is available in classic rectangular and the uniquely designed Piet Boon KEKKE and KLINK shapes. The KEKKE shape is distinguished by its square or rectangular shape with rounded corners. The KLINK shape is best described as an organic circle, created by drawing a circle freehand. A collection that makes for the perfect companion to support the timeless design of the Studio Piet Boon living experience.
Functionality
The TIDE carpet can fit in a variety of spaces. In addition, it is easy to keep clean with a vacuum cleaner. The underside of the rug is made of synthetic latex which offers resistance to fire. Furthermore, in order to prevent the carpet from shifting, anti-slip is available separately in various fixed sizes, as a roll for installation or made to measure.
Materials
The TIDE carpet is made from bamboo and eucalyptus with a pile height of 34 mm. These durable fibers are products of nature and are known for its high luster and sheen. The material is sustainable and rich in color retention. As a result, the carpet is soft, luminous and very resilient.
Colors
The Piet Boon by Carpetlinq TIDE collection is available in three subdued colors from light to dark: BONE, MIST, PEBBLE and TERRA. The color fastness of the TIDE carpet collection is 4 or higher within a scale of 1 to 5, which makes it highly resistant to fading or transferring of dyes. These selected colors make the collection a wonderful base for any space designed with a broader color palette. It works well with both vibrant, contrasting colors as well as ton-sur-ton shades.
