Studio Piet Boon redesigns Hof van Saksen. This collaboration marks another chapter in the longstanding relationship between the designer and the premium family resort in Drenthe, with a focus on redefining luxury and tranquility in each farmhouse.
Piet Boon, remarks, ‘Our design concept was inspired by the surrounding nature, creating a seamless transition between the interior and the exterior. We aim to immerse guests in the serene beauty of the landscape, blending neutral colors with the warmth of wood and the solidity of stone to establish a profound connection with nature.’
The project, nearing completion, is an oasis of tranquility, integrating luxurious new interiors, expansive kitchens, and deluxe bathrooms complete with Finnish saunas. Attention to outdoor living is paramount, with elegantly furnished terraces and verandas enhancing the connection with the natural world.
As we reach mid-2025, all farmhouses are expected to unveil their new look, offering guests a renewed sense of peace and a unique stay experience, characteristic of Hof van Saksen’s promise of tranquility, space, and luxury, reimagined by Studio Piet Boon.
