Crafting a culture of creativity, Rosewood Front Row debuts in Hong Kong

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® launches its inaugural global culture series in the lead up to Art Basel Hong Kong and invites Studio Piet Boon to be part of it.
As Studio Piet Boon, we are thrilled to announce our participation in this extraordinary event, as Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® introduced Rosewood Front Row, a new global culture series debuting in Hong Kong from March 19 to 25, 2024. Highlighting the intersection of hospitality, art, culture, and design, Front Row’s programming will precede Art Basel Hong Kong, hosting leaders across various fields for talks and exhibitions.
We are honored that our founder Piet Boon, who has been involved in our projects for Rosewood hotels & resorts such as Rosewood Amsterdam, Rosewood Miyakojima in Japan, and Rosewood Residences Hillsboro Beach in Florida, will take a seat on the stage at M+ Museum, a well-known art museum in Hong Kong. Piet will join other dignitaries including Amsterdam artist Frederik Molenschot and Trish Luyckx, Chief Design and Project Services Officer at Rosewood Hotel Group. Moderated by Marisa Yu, founding partner and architect of ESKYIU, the discussion will unfold against the backdrop of Molenschot’s ‘S TATI CA’ artwork.
‘S TATIC A’ by Frederik Molenschot
Frederik Molenschot’s ‘S TATIC A’ series, displayed at the M+ Museum and Rosewood Hong Kong, showcases site-specific sculptures that generate viewer engagement. Rosewood is set to involve Polytechnic University’s local design students in conversations with Molenschot and Piet Boon, who curated Frederik, to delve into how art, design, and heritage intersect on a global scale.
