One of our teams designed the interior of an authentic three-story canal house with views over the picturesque canals and bridges of Haarlem.

The homeowners desired a timeless character for their residence, emphasizing convenience and ease of use. To modernize both the interior design and functionality, the previously outdated apartment was completely stripped.

The client’s request for a staircase design soon evolved into a broader project to rejuvenate an old farmhouse’s interior, blending traditional charm with modern elements.

It is designed to the specifications of the owners: light, contemporary and fitting with the characteristics of its environment. It’s the perfect place for the family to rest, relax, and fully enjoy the natural coastal environment.

Inspired by the sloping forms in the local area, the design of this villa in Antigua is distinguished by a series of terraces that nestle in the layered natural environment by the sea.

This private residence shows that comfortable luxury living doesn’t automatically equal a large amount of space. Tasked with the transformation of a 15.8 square meter canal house room, into a luxurious micro condominium, our design approach was to create the sense of luxury by incorporating as many (hidden) functionalities as possible and use rich materials throughout the entire home.

Few Caribbean islands are as inviting as Bonaire, a sand-fringed escape in the former Dutch Antilles. The island is a haven of tranquillity, boasting consistently pleasant warm temperatures and soft sea breezes. Situated on one of the island’s most pristine beaches lies Kas Dorrie: a luxurious designer beach villa.

Raised off the ground, this one-story Bonaire villa sits modestly in the landscape. Designed with an L-shaped floor plan to create a courtyard in the forecourt and providing a clear separation between the public and private areas of the home.

Located in the vicinity of the city of Amsterdam, lies this villa amidst the beautiful surroundings of nature reserve ‘t Twiske. Tasked with the total concept design of this family home and given carte blanche in 2000, we set out to create the ultimate Studio Piet Boon design experience.

Studio Piet Boon was entrusted with the interior design of this remarkable family villa in Germany, a historic monument that underwent a meticulous transformation. The residence was almost entirely reconstructed under the guidance of architect Jürgen Fladung.
