Wereldwijd en grenzenloos design
Sinds 1983 zijn we vanuit onze thuisbasis in Oostzaan, nabij Amsterdam, uitgegroeid tot een internationale design studio met een eigen identiteit. Onze projecten overstijgen grenzen en culturen: van internationale hospitality-projecten voor gerenommeerde merken zoals Rosewood Hotels & Resorts en Mandarin Oriental, tot met Michelin bekroonde restaurants zoals The Jane in Antwerpen. Daarnaast werken we al vele jaren voor privéklanten, zowel nationaal als internationaal. Zo hebben we woningen, appartementen en villa’s gerealiseerd aan de Middellandse kust en het Caribische gebied, stedelijke oases in Nederland en België, vakantiechalets in de Zwitserse Alpen en Aspen, en privévastgoed in het Japanse Osaka. Samen met onze wereldwijde partners creëren we onderscheidende designs die perfect aansluiten op de levensstijl, opvattingen en omgeving van onze klanten.
Een balans van functie, esthetiek en eigenheid
Onze designteams streven altijd naar een perfecte balans tussen functionaliteit, esthetiek en eigenheid. Elk ontwerp moet in de eerste plaats functioneel zijn. Met onze vakkennis en bouwkundige expertise creëren we intuïtieve en elegante vormen die de unieke eigenschappen van elke ruimte accentueren, waarbij verhoudingen, kleuren en materialen harmonieus samensmelten.
Hoe we werken
Introduction
Our design approach for a private project consists of four phases and two optional services. The following slides give an idea of our way of working and the services we offer per phase. Each design phase includes a presentation and a revision round.
Preliminary research
Following the prepared briefing, which includes the client’s requirements and inventory of the site, a concept design is developed in the first phase.
Phase 1 Concept and architecture
During this phase, we create a concept design: the visualization of the exterior and a layout of the house.
Phase 2 Interior design
The interior is now further developed, and includes a material proposal and final floor plans with the fitted furniture.
Phase 3 Freestanding furniture
Next, the interior is finalized here by selecting the furniture, window coverings and both freestanding / decorative lighting.
Phase 4 Move in
During project completion, all freestanding furniture will be placed according to the interior design.
Optional service: aesthetic supervision
If requested, we provide supervision and review of the aesthetics and drawings from third parties. To ease any concerns that may arise during the execution of onsite work, we offer aesthetic supervision for Studio Piet Boon’s designs; and if so desired, we can participate in construction meetings.
Optional service: styling, decoration and art
We offer an advisory role in selecting art, objects and accessories so that the interior is brought to a cohesive whole.

Onze ontwerpteams, in nauwe samenwerking met de afdeling Product, Interieur & Styling en een netwerk van kunstenaars, creëren telkens weer een sfeer die recht doet aan de eigenheid van elke klant.
Studio Piet Boon benadert het ontwerpproces met uitzonderlijke aandacht en precisie, van de eerste briefing tot het laatste detail. Onze totaalconcept-aanpak zorgt ervoor dat onze ontwerpvisie en de behoeften van de klant perfect samenkomen.
