A contemporary family residence is taking shape in the hills of Andalusia, Spain. We are responsible for the full interior design of this new-build home of over 400 sqm, which spans four levels — from the basement to a rooftop deck with panoramic views.
The interior concept is being developed to harmonize functionality and refinement, tailored to the family’s lifestyle. Highlights include a private golf simulator, a temperature-controlled wine cave, and an inviting entry hall with a sculptural staircase. A custom fireplace anchors the central living area, while large openings frame the surrounding landscape.
The material palette is calm and tactile, composed of natural stone, textured plaster, warm wood, and softly woven textiles. Light oak cabinetry and paneling add a sense of quiet rhythm, while bronze-toned accents — such as the staircase balustrade — bring warmth and depth. Across the living spaces, soft earthy tones are lifted by natural daylight, which floods in from multiple sides and connects inside to out.
The bedrooms feature bespoke millwork and integrated lighting, offering a serene retreat with understated luxury. A sense of flow is maintained throughout the home by the consistent use of materials and finishes, grounding the contemporary design in warmth and comfort.
From the ground level to the rooftop, every space is designed to balance spaciousness and intimacy — creating a refined yet welcoming family home.
