Studio Piet Boon designs Rosewood Residences Hillsboro Beach, Miami®
6 April 2023
Studio Piet Boon is excited to announce its collaboration with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. The internationally renowned design studio will take on the interior of the Rosewood Residences Hillsboro Beach, Miami® — a residential development project that centers on the concept of enriched living, consisting of a ten-story tower housing 70 residences and three-story structure comprising 22 villa-style homes including a series of resort-style amenities that prioritize ease, simplicity, and indulgence. The project will be executed in partnership with Related Group and Dezer Development.
Offering a total of 92 waterfront homes and villas, as well as 11 private boat slips right on the Atlantic Ocean, Rosewood Residences Hillsboro Beach, Miami® is a boutique condominium and standalone residential project based on the idea that the extraordinary can be found in the everyday. The development will provide owners with unparalleled access to the region’s most picturesque beaches, golf courses, and unspoiled natural surroundings. With Studio Piet Boon overseeing the interiors, the property has been crafted to stay true to Rosewood’s ‘A Sense of Place™ philosophy.
As in all Studio Piet Boon interior designs, the studio will capitalize the opportunities offered by the natural surroundings — in this case the Atlantic beach front. In doing so, a fluent interconnectivity among all the interior and exterior spaces, as well as the residential units and the amenity areas, is key. In keeping with the Miami beach location, the overall material palette is composed of stone and wood. This is reflected in the various textures and tones to the refined claddings, millwork, and furniture details. Natural green elements will be used to enhance the overall well-being of residents and staff alike.
In addition to the love for the natural environment, Studio Piet Boon’s passion for art is a key design element. For Rosewood Residences Hillsboro Beach, Miami® this means that a collection of museum-quality art will be hand-selected by the world-renowned curatorial team of partner Related Group. The bespoke art will be integrated in both the interior and exterior. All with one goal: to create a humanized, balanced environment that inspires to find relaxation in everyday life. The project is scheduled for completion in 2026.
