Bathroom in balance
For an apartment in Rotterdam, we designed a bathroom in which symmetry, material use and spatial clarity come together. The setting is built around a double washbasin, finished with beige marble basins by COCOON and two stainless steel taps by COCOON. This creates a clear and balanced layout.

Below the washbasin, wooden drawers provide practical storage, keeping the surface calm and uncluttered. Two separate mirrors strengthen the symmetry and give the wall an open, rhythmic composition.
The bathtub by COCOON is aligned with the washbasin. This axis creates a quiet spatial connection between the different functions in the bathroom. The glass shower wall keeps the space open and light.

In the wet area, the natural stone returns in the shower wall, visually connecting the bathtub, washbasin and shower. For the floors and walls, NATURAL tile by Douglas & Jones was selected in the color FLAX. Its subtle structure complements the beige marble and creates cohesion between the dry and wet zones.
The walls are finished with SAND Lime Paint by Piet Boon Paint & Plaster. Combined with OVIO lighting by Deltalight, the result is an understated bathroom with soft materials, clear lines and balance.
