A modular sofa system with soft forms
The PAM sofa is a modular sofa system designed to stand freely within a space. With its rounded back and carefully considered proportions, PAM brings a softer expression to the Piet Boon furniture collection while preserving a clear architectural character.
The design is shaped around the idea that a sofa should be viewed from every angle. For that reason, the back has been developed with the same care and attention to detail as the front. Its rounded form continues through the silhouette, stitching and transition between the back and seat cushion, creating a cohesive volume in which comfort and composition come together.
For the back and sides of the sofa, the design is available with or without an upholstered shell. This shell can be upholstered in the same fabric as the sofa or in a different fabric, color or texture, allowing for subtle tonal variation and a more layered material expression. The plinth can also be upholstered, creating further opportunity to refine the sofa’s appearance.
PAM can be configured in different ways, from linear arrangements to corner settings and more organic compositions. The modular elements allow the sofa to adapt naturally to generous living and hospitality spaces as well as more intimate interiors.

Material
Wooden frame with elastic webbing and made of ash wood. Seat cushions are made with high resilience foam with a top layer of memory foam and goose down. Fabric covers are removable, leather covers are fixed. Back cushion are filled with High resilience foam with a top layer mixture of goose down and polyester fibers.
