Rosewood Amsterdam Houses

A refined expression of comfort and history

4 september 2025

Now that the hotel has opened its doors, we are delighted to share the first images of the Houses at Rosewood Amsterdam. These residences within the hotel reveal Studio Piet Boon’s vision: a refined balance of comfort, contemporary luxury, and the layered character of Amsterdam’s historic architecture.

Private sanctuaries in the heart of the city

Designed as private sanctuaries, each House offers a world of its own. They are conceived for intimate retreats as well as shared experiences, with interiors where historic details meet modern refinement. Studio Piet Boon approached every space with meticulous attention, layering textures, light, and curated accents to create a sense of belonging and ease.

House 020

On the ground floor, House 020 offers a rare perspective at eye-level with the canal. Neoclassical architecture is paired with exclusive contemporary artworks, balancing grandeur with intimacy. At eye level, the canal setting reinforces a sense of tranquility.

Herengracht House

Herengracht House combines classical references with modern sophistication. Materials, textures, and decorative details echo Amsterdam’s mercantile past, while the atmosphere is defined by understated elegance — a stylish home in the heart of the city.

Library House

Once the library of the Palace of Justice, Library House celebrates its storied past. Original architectural features are preserved and paired with subtle graffiti-inspired details, a curated collection of books, and selected objects. The result is a luxurious, contemporary setting that bridges history with modern life.

Keizersgracht House

Set high above the canals, Keizersgracht House merges centuries-old beams with playful, colorful accents. The atmosphere reflects the lively rhythm of Amsterdam, perfect for slow mornings and relaxed afternoons overlooking the city’s iconic waterways.

Prinsengracht House

Nestled beneath its characteristic sloping beams, Prinsengracht House feels warm and inviting. Rich textures, soft lighting, and carefully selected details turn this top-floor retreat into a cocoon of comfort and quiet luxury.
