Studio Piet Boon and Albo introduce GRID
29 Oct 2026
A new collection of interior doors designed to connect spaces.
On 29 October 2026, Studio Piet Boon and Albo introduce GRID, their first collection of interior doors together. The collection brings together Piet Boon design, exceptional quality and Albo’s craftsmanship.
A door connects more than two spaces. It also plays a role in how lines, colors, materials and proportions continue throughout an interior. This idea was the starting point for GRID.
Four designs. One design language.
The collection consists of four designs: GRADIENT, RHYTHM, INTERVAL and DIVIDE.
Each explores proportion, division and rhythm in a different way. GRADIENT creates a subtle transition through lines and relief. RHYTHM uses repetition and variation to create a balanced composition. INTERVAL plays with proportion and the space between surfaces, while DIVIDE is defined by strong vertical lines and symmetry.
Different in character, the four designs are connected by the same attention to line, proportion and detail. They can be used individually or combined throughout an interior, allowing the character of the door to change from room to room while maintaining a consistent design language.
Designed as part of the interior
GRID was developed as an integral part of the Studio Piet Boon interior. The doors can be coordinated with selected Piet Boon Paint & Plaster colors and combined with Piet Boon by Formani door hardware.
This allows color, material and finish to continue across the door, frame, wall and surrounding interior.
