Two new bathroom settings mark 5-year anniversary of Piet Boon Bathroom
1 July 2026
To mark the 5-year anniversary of Piet Boon Bathroom, the studio introduces two new bathroom settings at the Bathroom Flagship Store. The installations reflect the continued evolution of the bathroom as a quiet sanctuary within the home: a place shaped by daily rituals, material clarity and considered proportion.
Both settings express the Piet Boon Bathroom philosophy through restraint, rhythm and precision. Architecture, tactile materials and functional detailing come together in composed spaces that feel calm, enduring and deeply connected to the way they are used.
A strong interplay of lines
Although the makeup and washbasin areas are perceived as one continuous space, they support two distinct moments of use. Generous wooden elements add warmth and softness, while Piet Boon Paint & Plaster in BIRCH creates a muted backdrop behind the bathtub. The bathtub itself is precisely aligned with the central axis of the washbasin columns, reinforcing the calm order of the space.

At the rear, a spacious walk-in shower with an integrated bench forms the wet area. A niche in the same natural stone as the basins subtly connects the different zones. Layered tiles introduce a quiet rhythm, while stainless steel COCOON faucets offer a cool, lasting contrast to the warmer materials.

Rhythm and refined proportions
The second bathroom setting is more intimate in scale. Defined by balance, symmetry and a clear spatial layout, it places the double washbasin at the natural center of the space, with the toilet discreetly positioned out of sight.

Sightlines are carefully considered throughout. The showerhead aligns with the central axis of the basin, creating a sense of calm order without visual excess. Wood detailing around the COCOON washbasin adds tactility and natural character, while the wet area opposite is defined by a glass wall.
Inside the shower, Rib COAST wall tiles bring texture and depth. The soft, sea-inspired relief of the COAST floor tile grounds the space in natural calm. Two wooden cabinets, one closed and one open, balance functionality and warmth. Decorative lighting by FLOS adds a soft architectural layer, while stainless steel COCOON fittings create a consistent expression throughout the setting.
Now on view
The two new bathroom settings are now on view at the Piet Boon Bathroom Flagship Store. Visitors are welcome to experience the spaces in person and explore the latest tile collection. Walk-ins are welcome, and personal appointments can be scheduled via pietboon.com.
