Monumental apartments

In Amsterdam, we are working on the complete renovation of a monumental townhouse. The original five floors are being transformed into three apartments, each with a distinctive character.
The first apartment spans two floors: the bel-etage and the basement level, which has been deepened to serve as a full-fledged living floor. This apartment also includes a garden, a quiet outdoor space in the heart of the city. The second apartment is situated on a single floor, more compact in size, yet offering a luxurious living environment. The third apartment extends across two floors and features a rooftop terrace, ideal for enjoying the views.
The client has opted for sustainable solutions, such as solar panels, a heat pump, double glazing, and fully insulated walls, contributing to energy-efficient and future-proof residences.
The interior style is characterized by an urban chic aesthetic—a modern blend with classic details that are timeless and elegant. Rich materials with refined detailing in custom furniture are applied in the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom. The guest rooms are finished with minimalist touches, creating a serene atmosphere.
Dark wood is combined with natural stone and white walls, creating a beautiful contrast that adds warmth and sophistication to the spaces.
