In the heart of Amsterdam’s medical-scientific district, next to VU University Amsterdam, the new RDC Adore has opened—a groundbreaking center for oncology and neuroscience research.
Adore is the world’s first center to integrate these two medical disciplines so seamlessly. A place where boundaries fade and the potential for breakthrough therapies in cancer and brain diseases is expanded.
Studio Piet Boon designed the loose furniture for the informal seating areas in the atrium and inner courtyard. The furniture concept invites connection, calm, and meaningful exchange among colleagues. The color palette is carefully attuned to the building’s architecture, with a subdued composition centered on harmony and balance.
The architecture of the Binnenhof was designed by Atelier PRO. In addition, Studio Hartzema is responsible for the design of the main entrance.
RDC Adore officially opened its doors in May 2025.
