Warm materiality and clear lines
The design of this bathroom centres on creating an open and comfortable space, where clear lines are softened by natural materials and warm tones. The layout follows the length of the room, giving the bath, basin and shower their own distinct place, with ample space in between. Materials, colours and custom-made elements are carefully considered to create a cohesive and calm spatial experience.
The walls are finished with Lime Paint from the Piet Boon Paint & Plaster collection in COTTON. Its lime-based texture subtly captures the daylight, lending the space a soft, layered appearance.
Along one side of the bathroom, a generous basin area forms the functional centre of the space. The beige marble basin is paired with custom-made wooden cabinetry, adding warmth and texture. Large mirrors enhance the natural light and create a greater sense of space. Copper faucets by Piet Boon by COCOON introduce a warm metallic accent that complements the natural tones of the marble and wood.
The freestanding bath, finished in BIANCO marble, is positioned close to the window, where daylight accentuates its rounded form. Copper bath faucets reappear as a refined detail, creating a sense of continuity between the different zones. A built-in niche keeps bathroom essentials within easy reach without disrupting the calm composition.
Piet Boon by Douglas & Jones CEMENT tiles form an understated base across the floor. Towel hooks by Formani are subtly integrated into the wall.
The result is a bathroom in which material, custom-made elements and layout reinforce one another, with functionality and comfort forming an integral part of the design.

After approval, we translate the plans into technical drawings. Before construction starts, we schedule a meeting with your contractor to review the design details and ensure the bathroom is realized exactly as envisioned.
