Studio Piet Boon celebrates Silver at the International Design Awards for Mountain Villa Aspen

With quiet pride, Studio Piet Boon is honored to announce a new milestone in our design journey.
The project ‘Mountain Villa Aspen’ has been awarded Silver in Residential Interior Design for Houses – Single/Family Dwelling at the International Design Awards (IDA).
About the IDA
The IDA celebrates the world’s visionary designers, showcasing talent across diverse disciplines—Architectural, Interior, Product, Graphic, and Fashion Design. Sharing the creative stage with the Annual Lucie Awards for Photography, the IDA is a testament to the dedication and exceptional skill of its participants.
Mountain Villa Aspen
At the heart of this villa lies our homage to the natural elegance of Aspen, Colorado. With an approach that mirrors the calm and balance we always look for, our design for this 11,000 sq. ft. residence is a reflection of the serene majesty of its setting. The interior design captures the essence of Aspen’s changing seasons through a palette of natural tones, fresh whites, warm yellows, and cool icy blues. The use of wood and soft materials unites the indoors with the outdoors, while artfully placed objects and double-height spaces enhance the villa’s lines of sight. The residence, a canvas of tranquility and symmetry, showcases meaningful art and curated objects that invite contemplation and celebrate space.
