A penthouse shaped for mountain living
Work in progress: country retreats
Set in Hinterglemm, Austria, this new-build penthouse forms part of the Adler Hotel and is designed for private use as well as rental. The residence spans approximately 180 m² and brings together the comfort of a private home with the functionality required for temporary stays. The layout includes a main bedroom with private bathroom and sauna, three additional bedrooms each with their own bathroom, a guest toilet and wardrobe, as well as a living room, kitchen, prep kitchen, private storage and an outdoor terrace.

The penthouse is a place to retreat throughout the year. In winter, the setting is defined by skiing. In summer, the landscape shifts toward hiking, mountain biking and long days outdoors. With direct views of the surrounding mountains, the project reflects the atmosphere of the Austrian alpine landscape and the changing character it brings from season to season.
The visual direction suggests an interior that feels calm, warm and grounded, with generous living spaces, soft natural light and a close connection to the scenery outside.
