Over the past 30 years we have developed a durable, timeless product collection consisting of sofas, tables and chairs, but also light fixtures, floors, shutters and accessories, such as mirrors and vases. At Studio Piet Boon we believe that the different elements in a living area and the chosen color palette should form a coherent whole. To create this, it all starts with a functional base to create a perfect balance.

Our subdued color schemes, in twelve shades, form the base for each of our products. The use of ton-sur-ton color palettes creates a subtle, understated effect. Our restrained tonal color schemes have gradually become one of our signatures. They form a calm base upon which more pronounced layers can be added.

The Piet Boon by Zonnelux shutter collection is a reflection of our color palettes. The wide range of timeless and elegantly designed window products, all executed in recognizable Studio Piet Boon colors, are as functional as they are stylish, adding a contemporary touch to any home interior.

Using one color palette you create harmony. Adding beautiful materials with different textures creates a rich and lively environment. Combining similar textures creates a refined effect, whereas contrasts – matte with shiny, smooth with rough – have a sense of adventure about them and are more likely to make a statement. Although the differences are subtle, the impact is surprisingly big.

The RISE carpet collection, from our collaboration with Carpetlinq, is a great example of the power of combinations. Within one carpet, two color tones and high quality, durable materials (wool and wool-silk) are mixed. This mix gives the carpets a subtle design, without becoming too overpowering. The RISE collection blends effortlessly with  Piet Boon furniture, fabrics and leather, and the fabrics of our layered HALO lamp (Piet Boon by Maretti lighting).
