Omoda Flagship Store
The successful Dutch shoe retailer, Omoda, asked us to help realize its vision for a luxury flagship store in one of Amsterdam’s most beautiful locations: Van Baerlestraat (Museum Quarter). In doing so we designed an interior for its new flagship store that boasts an unique shopping experience. This experience allows visitors of the Omoda store to submerge in a world that has the feel of a museum and a luxurious personal walk-in closet.
Omoda Amsterdam has an extensive collection of women’s, men’s, and children’s shoes and a selection of accessories. The design brief was to design a shop interior that would be both warm and robust with a powerful colour palette, giving visitors the impression that they are entering a luxury hotel. In turn, we translated this idea into a contemporary version of a closed walk-in closet, where visitors can try things on without being watched, as though they were at home. Both the architecture and the surroundings of the building and Omoda’s passion for shoes served as inspiration for the interior design.
