OPERA APERTA flooring by Listone Giordano

A wooden floor where structure, rhythm and craftsmanship come together

The OPERA APERTA flooring is a flooring concept developed in collaboration with Listone Giordano. The design is inspired by the rhythm and structural clarity of Renaissance architecture, translated into a contemporary flooring system with a calm, architectural expression.

From a single plank, available in two variations, multiple laying patterns can be created. In this way, OPERA APERTA offers freedom in application while maintaining its clear formal language. The natural grain of oak, the precise finish and the carefully considered proportions bring warmth, structure and continuity to the space.

A shared language in wood

The collaboration between Listone Giordano and Studio Piet Boon stems from a shared appreciation for natural materials, technical precision and enduring quality. Italian wood craftsmanship and technical expertise are combined with the studio’s understated approach to form, proportion and atmosphere.

The result is a floor that is present without overpowering. The planks bring direction to the space and give the floor a clear rhythm. OPERA APERTA is suitable for a wide range of interiors, from private residences to hospitality and project environments.

Designed for flexibility

The strength of OPERA APERTA lies in the balance between simplicity and variation. Through the construction of the plank, the floor can be installed in different configurations. This makes it possible to create a floor composition that responds to the architecture of the space, without losing coherence.

The elements are fitted with a groove profile on all sides and are connected using loose tongues, supplied with the material. When glued down, the floor is suitable for use with underfloor heating and cooling systems, provided the guidelines for temperature and humidity are carefully followed.
