Villa nestled in the forest

Work in progress

This villa is located in the middle of a forest. Surrounded by greenery and with no immediate neighbors, the location offers a rare combination of tranquility, privacy, and proximity to the village center.

The house originally consisted of two separate dwellings. In this project, both volumes are merged into one cohesive home. Only one staircase is retained, simplifying and strengthening the circulation throughout the house. The villa includes a basement, a ground floor with living spaces, a first floor with bedrooms, and an attic.

The design carefully preserves the home’s original decorative elements. These historic details are not concealed but highlighted through a thoughtful dialogue between classical and contemporary design. Past and present are brought together in a balanced and deliberate way.

The atmosphere is inspired by high-end hotels. Not as a literal reference, but as an approach. The design focuses on experience, rhythm, and moments of emphasis. Each space contributes to a layered journey through the house.

Materials play a central role. Natural stone, metal, and antique mirrors add depth and character. Soft tones are combined with darker materials to create contrast and tension.

This project is currently in development. Further detailing and refinement will follow in the next phase.
