Inspired by Velar

Studio Piet Boon and Land Rover have been collaborating since 2006. Since then we have designed multiple limited editions ranging from Defender to Range Rover. For the introduction of the new Range Rover Velar, Land Rover challenged five designers to design a product inspired by Velar. As brand partner we are very proud to have been a part of this “Inspired by Velar” project. Drawing inspiration from the Velar’s floating top and our own super circle KLINK shape, we designed a bronze art object that at the same time contains a hidden compartment to hold the Velar’s car key.
