The Piet Boon by COCOON bathroom collection consists of baths, washbasins, chests of drawers, taps and shower sets. The products, in various colors and sizes, are available in timeless materials such as natural stone, solid surface and wood. The Piet Boon sanitary and bathroom products are designed with the philosophy of working together, complementing each environment and creating a harmonious whole; a contemporary living space imbued with peace and serenity.

Design

The design of the Piet Boon by COCOON shower set collection features the unique Piet Boon KEKKE shape, which is reflected in the design of the rain shower head. This distinctive shape was inspired by the simplicity and symmetry of geometric shapes.

The design combines functionality with pure lines and elegant shapes, characteristic of many other Piet Boon products, such as the shower sets, KEKKE dining chair, coffee and side tables and mirror. The typical KEKKE shape may be recognized by its rounded corners.

Functionality

The shower sets are versatile in application due to various mounting options on both wall and ceiling. In addition, there is a choice of sets with or without rails and hand shower. In addition to wall and ceiling mounted showers, there is also a freestanding shower option, which like all other shower and bath tap sets is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Materials and colors

The shower sets as well as taps and bath taps are made of high quality AISI 316L stainless steel, resistant to corrosion and salt. The material is ecologically sound, naturally lead-free and in compliance with strict worldwide regulations on the drinking water supply. The products are manufactured by hand and machine near the idyllic Lake Maggiore in Italy, and are available in the matte colors ‘Gunmetal Black’, ‘Brushed Stainless Steel’ and ‘Raw Copper’. The products in the colors Gunmetal Black and Raw Copper are finished with PVD (Physical Vapor Desposition), which makes them more resistant to scratches and ensures color retention.
