Raising the ground floor of the house provides an unobstructed view over the water and the L-shaped floor plan provides an enclosed terrace on the garden side. For both the exterior and the interior, a subtle diversity of materials has been selected to create a consistent esthetic throughout the house. The use of Ceppo stones gives the interior a calm, balanced atmosphere with harmony in both form and finish. The overall minimalist atmosphere is given the warmth of a family home by using soft and natural colors.

Spacious Family Home
This spacious family home has retained a sense of friendliness by limiting the design to just two floors above ground and a spacious basement. The use of horizontal lines gives the house a subdued character and sets it apart from surrounding buildings. By using a strong rhythm of Petersen stones, a gently sloping roof and concrete bands in both the facade and surrounding terraces, its horizontal character is further emphasized. For the roof, a tile constructed of the same material and robust design as the bricks of the facades was chosen. This contributes to a uniform design language and gives the house its understated character.
