Intern, Styling
As a Styling Intern at Studio Piet Boon, you will contribute to styling projects that reflect our design signature. You will support the styling team in ongoing projects and in our showrooms, under the guidance of the Head of Styling.
Who we are
Studio Piet Boon is an internationally operating design studio specializing in exterior, interior, and product design. For over 35 years, we have created award-winning projects and products that balance functionality, beauty, and individuality. Our team consists of experienced designers, architects, and stylists. The studio is located in Oostzaan, just north of Amsterdam.Â
What we do
We design exclusive private homes, residential and corporate developments, and hospitality environments. In addition, we create products for every room in the home. Our multidisciplinary team works from concept to realization, with attention to atmosphere, detail, and materiality.Â
Your role
You will work on styling assignments for projects and events. You will support the Head of Styling and collaborate closely with fellow stylists and designers. Your tasks include assisting with presentations, showroom set-ups, photoshoots, and PR events with partners and art galleries. You have a strong eye for detail and composition, know how to structure and document information, and understand when to collaborate. You are solution-oriented and always willing to go the extra mile.Â
Your experience and personality
You are curious, precise, and well-organized. You can plan multiple tasks in parallel, keep oversight, and have a strong sense of aesthetics, color, material, and styling trends.
Your skills
- Bachelor’s level education or equivalent experienceÂ
- Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and ExcelÂ
- Basic knowledge of Vectorworks is a plusÂ
- Comfortable working with both Windows and macOSÂ
- Strong planning and organizational skillsÂ
- Creative with an excellent eye for composition, color, and detailÂ
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and writtenÂ

This is a 32-hour position. We offer a standard internship allowance plus travel expenses. You can join daily shared healthy lunches, train twice a week with a personal trainer after work, and take part in social events and gatherings throughout the year.Â
